Mr. Shoemaker received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in 1988. He received his Juris Doctorate from Willamette College of Law in 1991.
Mr. Shoemaker is licensed to practice law in all of New Mexico State Courts, The United States Court of Appeals for the 10th District, The United States District Court of New Mexico, The United States District Court of Central Utah, The United States Court of Appeals for The Armed Forces, and The Army Court of Criminal Appeals.
Mr. Shoemaker served with the Army JAG (Active Duty and Reserve) and has significant experience in insurance defense litigation and family law. Mr. Shoemaker has been selected as a U.S. News and Report’s Best Attorney for New Mexico since 2012.
Mr. Shoemaker currently practices in the areas of insurance defense, personal injury, oil field injury litigation, bad faith and construction defects.
