
Lucas Helper is a lifelong New Mexico resident and dedicated legal advocate who brings valuable litigation experience to the firm. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law and has been licensed to practice in New Mexico since 2019. Prior to law school, Mr. Helper completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico, receiving a B.A. in Marketing in 2015.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Helper served as a Deputy District Attorney in Taos County, where he represented the State of New Mexico in over thirty jury and bench trials. His prosecution experience spans a wide range of criminal matters, including DWI, domestic violence, and homicide cases—providing him with a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy and trial preparation.

Mr. Helper now focuses his practice on oil & gas, trucking, long-term care, and general liability cases, applying his litigation background to effectively represent clients in complex legal disputes. His commitment to thorough preparation, strategic thinking, and clear communication makes him a valuable member of the legal team. ​
